Role Overview & Responsibilities

Eden Brown are looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Service in Bristol.

The post holder will be able to provide a safe, patient centred, effective and evidence-based Physiotherapy service in a the community setting. You will work within the Adult Service to deliver both acute and long term therapy to adults within their own home and other settings.

You will be part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team (MDT), which includes Nurses, GP's and other Allied Health Professionals and Social Care. Your focus will be to provide specialist advice and to promote and improve the health & well-being of people and communities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Be an autonomous practitioner responsible for the safe and comprehensive physio-therapeutic assessment and management of you own caseload
  • Work within your scope of practice
  • Plan and prioritise your workload independently and supervise assistants, rehabilitation workers and students as required
  • Support and guide service users in appropriate goal setting
  • Use clinical reasoning and treatment skills to develop and deliver personalised treatment plans based on evidence based practice
  • Maintain accurate patient/client records (paper/electronic) in line with documentation guidelines
