Job Description
Application Production Services Lead- London/ Hybrid - £640 - £740+ Per Day Inside IR35
Eames consulting is working with a Financial Services Company to secure the services of a Application Production Services Lead on an initial 6 months contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of an on-site team of 3 people and control of work allocation to an additional offsite team of 8.
- Provide Level 1 & 2 support to various middle and back-office applications (IPM, IOM, Gloss, Swift, BPSA, PMC, Algo, OWS etc)
- Manage the minor enhancement requests as prioritized by business and deploy into production following the Change management cycle.
- Work on service requests using the Incident / Problem / Service management workflow, raised by business users and provide resolution.
- Handle Change Management
- Provide release management services
- Perform fail-over and manage disaster recovery activities.
Technical Skills:
We are looking for candidates who have experience in some or all of the following technologies:
- Production Support / Dev Ops / SRE (Min 8 years of experience)
- Various RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase etc)
- Batch Job Schedulers (TWS / Autosys )
- Scripting (Unix/Linux, Perl, PowerShell).
- ServiceNow
- Informatica
- DevOps
- Experience with BI tools such as Qlikview / Qliksense
