Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Warehouse Quality Control Inspector to support our Quality team with ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. The role is a great opportunity where you will require you to be self-lead and motivated with excellent communication skills. You will be working alongside other teams within the warehouse to investigate and highlight quality standards across multiple warehouses.

This role will be based in our warehouse in Stoke-on-Trent with travel required to other locations such as warehouses in Daventry, Corby and the head office in Leicester on occasion.

Some of your tasks will include:

  • Reviewing new and current products at goods in and through the warehouse identifying potential issues
  • Record keeping of faults and solutions for future inspections.
  • Raising quality/technical concerns, collaboratively working with the Quality team on potential solutions.
  • Supporting the Quality team and Warehouse on large scale inspections and reworks.
  • Building and evaluating products as per the assembly instructions as and when required.

Essential skills:

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and will be able to communicate with people at all levels.
  • An understanding of Quality Control
  • Competent in building furniture
  • Manual handling
  • Having a natural eye for detail, with customer orientated thinking for problems and solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, make things happen and take initiative.
