Location: Manchester

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 Per Annum (depending on experience + Bens)

Product: Clothing manufacturer
Location: Manchester – 2 days hybrid at home
Salary to £32K + Bens

Another great design role has become available at Dobson welch for two a well versed Childrenswear designers. There is huge expansion afoot and with this they are looking for Childrenswear designers to cover multi product but also one to specialise in Sleepwear (PJ’s , loungewear etc )

DUTIES

Design to a brief but with a creative edge and amend at buyer demands.
Proficient in Adobe Software, including Illustrator and Photoshop (minimum 2-3 years’ experience)
Trend research, mood boards creation for new projects and seasons ahead.
Work with the larger Design team to make sur customers are happy and consistent service.
Attending customer meetings and prepare for presentations.
Prepare design packs, including technical drawing and size specs.
Manage day to day workload, working closely with buyers and factories to ensure deadlines are met for samples and designs.
UK Based and eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years

MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED

Recent and well-versed experience designing children’s multiproduct daywear with licensed product based high street supplier or retailer.
Knowledge of licensed character product
First class English communication skills (written and verbal)
Solid IT Skills (Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Able to commute for a day’s work in Manchester 3 days a week.
Team player, self-motivated, well organised
