Discover Magazines Ltd is a well established publisher of local magazines for South Hampshire offering its advertisers a range of marketing support services including design, print, leaflet distribution, websites and other marketing related services to help promote their business. Based in a bright and spacious office in Chandler’s Ford, Discover Magazine is busy publishing 8 publications, 6 times a year, letterbox delivered to 172,000 homes across South Hampshire. Aim of the Role
To generate revenue through selling Discover products; predominantly media sales in Discover Magazines. Approach local businesses via social media to sell advertising - print and social media packages. To re-engage with lapsed advertisers and make them “live” again. To capitalise on the data and facilities within Hubspot CRM to generate sales enquiries for the team.
What you will be Doing
- Making outgoing sales calls to potential advertisers for your own pipeline and sales target.
- Generating your own inbound enquiries through e-marketing, postal campaigns and social media.
- Accurately and efficiently entering customer information into our CRM system.
- Booking a set number telephone appointments for Managing Director per months
- Administrative duties associated with the role
Role Information
- Salary: £19,000pa with OTE £26,000
- Hours/Days of Work: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week 9-5 Monday to Thursday & 9-4 Friday
- Reporting to: Business Development Director & Managing Director
- Annual Leave: 34 days including bank holidays and your birthday.

Salary: £19,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
