JUNIOR CAD TECHNICIAN / TRAINEE STRUCTURAL TECHNICIAN - STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

Fantastic career opportunity is available for a Junior CAD Techncian / Trainee Structural Technician and is perfectly suited to a college leaver seeking an entry level position or someone who may have already gained some post qualification experience but is seeking a new role within an Engineering Consultancy. My Client is a multi-disciplined Engineering Consultancy and you will find yourself entering into the world of Structural Engineering and Design; building the foundations for a life-long career as a Structural Technician.

Ideally applicants would have completed studies towards some form of construction related qualification, HNC, HND, BTEC etc. in Civil Engineering, Construction or CAD. You will have a clear passion for securing a technically focused role in Civil / Structural Engineering and a strong desire to pursue a career in design and engineering for the built environment.

My Client's Structural Engineering Department are recognised for their highly professional skills and expertise in the design and development of building related structures and you can expect to be exposed to a fantastic range of structural engineering schemes for example: residential, educational, industrial, commercial.

As a Trainee Technician you will be providing support to the Structural Design Team in the delivery of structural drawings and as your experience and confidence progresses with time your duties and responsibilities will grow. You will be working in a very supportive and nurturing environment, one which really does encourage growth from within and invests in the training and mentoring of its Employees.
