Role Overview & Responsibilities

The CGM Group is a family-run business, founded in 1985 and provides a complete service to both commercial and domestic customers.


We are an expanding Grounds Maintenance and Environmental Services provider for a multitude of clients within the geographical area of Spalding, Lincoln, Kettering and surrounding areas. We have fantastic opportunities available for you to become part of this growing business.


**Permanent and Seasonal roles available in
Spalding/ Kettering and Lincoln areas**


The candidate will preferably be a certified tractor & side-arm operator, ideally with experience of working on river systems and waterways, as well as a positive attitude to health and safety, and good communication skills.


Responsibilities and Duties


  • Vegetation/Grounds Maintenance, both routine and ad hoc operations to river/waterway systems utilising tractor-mounted side-arm flail, plus front and rear mowing equipment.
  • Highways verge mowing
  • Hedge cutting operations
  • Liaise with Management to advise of progress of working operations.
  • Carry out all required checks of plant, equipment including vehicles and timely completion of daily record sheets and submitting these as per the company’s policy.
  • Available to participate in out of hours/within working hours emergency call out procedures.


Qualifications and Skills preferable;


  • NPTC/ Lantra certification in tractor & side-arm flailing operations
  • UK driving licence
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills

Pay based upon experience and qualifications

Full time - Monday to Friday.
