YOUR ROLE

Are you a qualified Driver looking for full-time, permanent work that offers guaranteed hours, immaculate vehicles and paying a worthwhile salary? If so, then look no further as our Driver roles at our Darwen operation are perfect for you!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Class 2 Driver at our Darwen operation, you will be guaranteed a 48-hour working week with a generous salary of £31,500 per annum.

This is a Monday to Friday position, starting between 04:30 and 06:00. You can expect to deliver stock to our retail customers, loading and unloading palletised goods using semi electric pump trucks, completing a maximum of 13 drops per shift. Handballing may be required at specific locations.

Alongside your daily driver duties, you will also get the opportunity to become one of our highly respected Lead Drivers. You will act as a contact point for all Class 2 drivers at our Darwen site, passing on any internal queries to the correct report.

You will also be required to act as holiday cover for our site administrators, completing jobs such as planning driver routes and dealing with any site enquiries.

Combined with all of these added extras, we will also give you the opportunity to complete your driving assessor course fully funded by the site.

Having these extra responsibilities also comes with an extra £45 per week (£25 for being a Lead Driver and £20 for being a driving assessor) which will be given to you after the completion of corresponding assessments and your 13 week probation period.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful within this role, you will hold an in-date Class 2 license with no more than 6 points, a full CPC qualification and Tachograph card. Sufficient experience in a similar Class 2 multi-drop role is also desired.

You will be customer facing therefore able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, capable of building effective relationships in a positive and confident manner that strengthens the relationship between CEVA and the customer.
