Warehouse Operative (Monday to Friday)

Peterborough

£20,000 per year (£10.75 per hr)

Normal Working week is 8.45am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.45am to 4.00pm on Friday.

Person Specification:

· Experience of working in a warehouse environment

· Numerate and literate

· Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Enthusiastic

· Ability to undertake duties including lifting and carrying weights up to 25kg approx.

· Of smart and clean appearance

· Ability to communicate with warehouse and sales office colleagues

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

Overview: To assist in the overall efficient operation of the warehouse

Key Responsibilities:

· To pick and pack orders

· To work in goods in and stock replenishment team

· To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team of 10

· To keep work area clean and tidy

· To maintain high levels of health and safety standards

· To achieve the targets and job standard set out by Warehouse Supervisors

· To be communicative between colleagues

· To perform any reasonable request from Warehouse Supervisors

Key Attributes:

· Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting

· Attention to detail

· Good standard of numeracy
