<br><br>
This role is in Cargill's Agricultural Supply Chain business, based at our rapeseed crush plant and refinery in Brocklebank, Liverpool, which has been operating since 1995. The crush plant produces mid protein meal and crude rape oil and has facilities to outload oil for export.
<br>The Process Engineer applies engineering techniques to assist in the improvement of manufacturing processes and products. In this role, you will provide technical support, operations experience, continuous improvement and project management skills in a plant support capacity that ensures safe, efficient and low-cost plant operations. Key Accountabilities
<br><br>
Review and recommend manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost-effective, and to promote quality and reliability.
<br><br>
Assesses current manufacturing equipment and processes and makes recommendations for changes.
<br><br>
Analyses data to develop process optimisation methodologies.
<br><br>
Independently solve process issues with minimal supervision using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Chemical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline) or equivalent experience

Proven and demonstrable related work experience
<br><br>
Preferred
Qualifications

Experience of managing small engineering projects
<br><br>
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt Certification ideal but not essential)
<br><br>
Excellent oral and written communication skills
<br><br>
Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience or certifications
<br><br>
Understanding of PI (data historian), ACAD (auto CAD), MS Project
