<br>We are looking for a passionate, driven person to join our IT Support operations team for a full-time role based in the CAE Training Centre in Crawley, close to Gatwick Airport.

<b>POSITION SUMMARY:</b><br>

Reporting to IT Infrastructure & Operations Leader you will join the IT Support operations team and will be primarily responsible for delivery of first line IT Support (both telephone, remote and in person) for CAE staff in the training centre and across Europe.

<br><br>

An excellent opportunity to gain exposure to various technologies including Windows 11, Windows Server, SharePoint, Active Directory management, Office 365 Apps, Finance & CRM systems, and many others.

<br><br>

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

<br><br>

Configure, deploy, and relocate corporate laptops, desktops, monitors, headsets, docking stations, printers, mobile devices, and ad-hoc hardware & software

<br>Onboard new hires and Offboarding of existing personnel

<br>Maintain IT hardware & Software in the asset database

<br>Log incidents and requests in the IT Service Management system (BMC Helix)

<br>Install, configure, and troubleshoot company applications

<br>Support MS Office products (Office 365, Microsoft Teams), Windows 10/11 Enterprise and other apps using remote access tools and in person

<br>Support CAE instructors and external customers in resolving classroom issues.

<br>Ad-hoc work on exciting new projects, deploying new software & hardware solutions.

<br>Collaborate with other IT teams located worldwide in all time-zones

<br>Deploy and maintain AV equipment within the training center.

<br>The core working hours 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri with occasional out of hours work.

<br>Ad-hoc travel to other CAE offices may be required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

<br><br>

<b>The ideal candidate will possess the following:</b><br>

0-3 years of experience in IT Support / Helpdesk role or similar

<br>(IT graduates with no experience will also be considered)

<br>Excellent communication and customer service skills both written and verbal

<br>Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills using logic and search engines

<br>Self-motivated and able to think on one’s feet unsupervised

<br>Fast learning skills due to dynamically changing, fast-paced environment

<br>Excellent attention to details and ability to self-organize the busy workload

<br>Great patience, stress tolerance and ability to multitask / juggling priorities

<br><b>Technical skills in IT Infrastructure:</b> Laptops, Mobile Devices, Windows Operating Systems and MS Office packages

<br>A technical school, an IT degree or relevant equivalent experience

<br><br>
