Role Overview & Responsibilities

Crème is a New York inspired dessert shop, and we are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team at Crème Soho. With everything baked, blended and brewed daily on site, the role involves baking our giant cookies, serving ice cream and making artisan coffee.

Responsibilities:*

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and hot drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Shape, bake and serve our cookies.
• Follow all company recipes and standards to ensure consistency and high-quality.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Interact with customers to build relationships, provide excellent customer service, and answer questions about our menu offerings.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation regulations are followed.
• Keep up to date with the latest coffee trends and innovations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a barista or similar role
• Passionate about coffee and have a thorough knowledge of coffee-making techniques
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good organizational and time-management skills
