In this role you will support the Data team to ensure quality and availibility of data to the business, making sure the data jobs run smoothly and efficently, driving automation wherever we can. You will need to be a solution-focused achiever who co-ordinates activities, delivers products and responds positively to challenges with commercial and marketing requirements. This role supports BT to reach its goals using data-driven capabilities.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensure all data management jobs are operationally efficient, and all documentation is available and maintained
- Create data solutions which deliver against customer briefs for feeds, initial analysis or ETL that drive into a development squad
- Apply the appropriate standards and principles when delivering data solutions
- Work as a product owner of a data delivery sqaud building work as the bridge between Technical and Business teams
- Ensure our existing data products remain accurate and usable
Essential skills:
- Concise Communicator
- Technical (Expert in programming languages PL SQL / SAS / T-SQL
- Experience in Business Intelligence
- Delivery managment (agile / waterfall)
- Analytical and critical thinking (highly numerate)
