Bradford | £37,000 - £42,000 |35 hours per week
We’re looking for an inspirational and experienced Assistant Head of Children & Young Peoples' Services to lead our work within our Yorkshire communities delivering our mission to transform the lives of young people in need. Our work is underpinned by the belief that all young people have the capacity to do extraordinary things that inspire and benefit others.
Experience and Qualifications
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent in relevant field, such as youth, education, health or social work, or have substantial work experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of securing funding from a variety of sources to support a breadth of youth and community programmes
- Programme and project management skills, with proven ability of translating strategy into operational implementation
- Substantial knowledge and experience of current legislation and best practice in the Children & Young People sector, including safeguarding
- Experience of managing a high performing team of diverse professionals
- Commitment to quality and with a drive for continuous performance improvement
