Role Overview & Responsibilities

Move nightclub is Exeter's leading underground dance music venue booking some of the biggest headline acts . We have recently introduced 'Move Live'- a live music project in the same venue.

Bomba is a cocktail bar, street food and event space which is on a different floor in the same building

We are looking to add another person to the team due to extending our operating hours.

The ideal candidate will have a love of the hospitality & music industry be able to work well on own and as part of a team. You will be involved with every aspect of the nightclub business. Leading from the front working all aspects of the venue inspiring your team, setting up of events, arranging riders, helping with promotions, staff and stock.

Assist with developing new ideas and concepts.

Assistant Nightclub and bar Manager

Summary of the role:

Forming part of the Club management team alongside myself ( Brian), Owen & Marcus you will take full responsibility on some shifts for all aspects of the operation including closedown, cashing up and lock up.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in looking after all of the building including bar, floor and stock areas, always ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.Constantly communicate with the staff and wider support team anything needed thats relevant to their job role, whether it be stock updates, upcoming events, changes to product or new policies. In addition to your role as assistant manager, perform wider duties such as running a shift, managing the wider team of staff & security Assisting in providing trainings to team members in areas such as bar operations, product knowledge. Being an ambassador for the brand at all times. All other duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
