Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity at our Middlewich Distribution Centre as a Warehouse Team Manager.

The following shift pattern will Monday – Friday rotational 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm.

As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will lead, manage and control your area of responsibility, in line with area specific KPI targets and time constraints. You will provide effective leadership, motivation, training and development to your team and will report to the Warehouse Shift Manager.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading, motivating and challenging a team to deliver consistently high results
  • Driving consistent performance of KPIs and managing productivity
  • Ensuring the safe delivery of stock to store & all admin is maintained to a high standard
  • Achieve and maintain pick accuracy levels
  • Use space and MHE efficiently ensuring workplace health & safety requirements are met
  • Collaborating with peers and superiors to maximize efficiencies and best practice

What we need:

  • Management experience in a volume & service driven warehouse operation
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent leadership, team building and motivational skills
  • Detail focused with strong organisational skills,
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Energy, flexibility and commitment to succeed in a challenging environment
