Digital PR Executive

Job Purpose

• Digital PR production : you will be expected to contribute to the production of digital PR campaigns / ideas. This will primarily involve copywriting press releases, conducting research and data analysis, and sourcing third-party experts / partners for amplifications.
• To Outreach: earn coverage and links for clients through targeted and considerate outreach . Also focus on building relationships with online media and journalists on behalf of clients. This role will require you to be creative with outreach and able to adapt your strategy in effective ways to maximise results
• Coverage monitoring and tracking: you will be responsible for monitoring for coverage and inputting this coverage into relevant client link trackers.

Key Responsibilities

• Building relationships with journalists and pitching in stories to land linked coverage for our clients.
• Working alongside the DPR Team teams to turn ideas into creative campaign assets.
• Analysing campaign performance and reporting on success both internally and externally.
• Establishing yourself as a communications expert to your clients, embedding yourself into their external comms plans and acting as a daily contact
• Writing content that is purposeful, clear and concise and positions our clients as thought leaders
• Contribute as a teamplayer for the department; from list building, internal Digital PR sessions to departmental and exec meetings.
• You will be working within a fast-growing Digital PR department, but will still have time to work on your own personal development and training with the encouragement and support of your line manager. You will be equally passionate about your own client’s successes as much as your own

Qualifications/Experience:

• Have PR (digital or traditional) experience, 1 year +
• Strong press release and pitch email experience
• A proven track record of gaining great coverage and links for your clients
• Strong ability to spot newsworthy items within reams of data
• Experience brainstorming and inputting into Digital PR Campaigns

Skills/Abilities/Attributes:

• A knack for relationship building and passion for networking - a love for attending industry and client events and chatting to people to make new connections at press conferences, open days, industry events, conferences, exhibitions, etc
• Demonstrate creativity, understanding and extreme attention to detail through the ability to create client-ready content, including press releases
• A drive for excellence - action-oriented and results-driven
• You’re a creative individual who is oozing with great ideas.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, the ability to manage workload while maintaining an open and honest dialogue with line manager
