Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a Trainee IT Administrator to join our expanding IT team in Morley. This is an interesting role that involves supporting up to 400 internal staff and remote workers helping to resolve desktop, server, network and printing problems.

As a Trainee IT Administrator, your duties will include:

· Answering queries in a timely manner and helping to resolve any technical issues while maintaining a comprehensive log

· Dealing with complex problems and liaising with external support providers

· Setting up new users, PCs and software and offering training and advice to users

· Checking IT security, virus software and backups

· Proactively troubleshooting any problems relating to IT software or hardware

· Travelling to remote branches throughout the UK and Ireland occasionally

We will, of course, give you full training for this role enabling you to become a competent and confident IT Administrator.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

We are looking for someone who is:

Personable, technically minded, detail orientated and with a strong administrative ability.

You will have a sound knowledge of common PC applications, including Microsoft Office programs.
