Role Overview & Responsibilities

Admin Assistant

Kingston is a district general hospital supporting around 350,000 people in Kingston, Richmond, Elmbridge (Surrey), Merton, Wandsworth and Sutton.

Bank Partners are currently looking for an Admin Assistant to join bank at Kingston Hospital. The admin assistant will manage the administrative processes attached to patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients, in order to deliver a high quality administration service, a positive patient experience, and excellent customer service.

Job Duties:

  • Reception duties including dealing with all incoming calls and queries and taking appropriate action for the area of duty.
  • Check in and discharge patients onto the computer system and to complete all relevant paper work.
  • To ensure the confidentiality of all matters relating to patients, particularly diagnostic & therapeutic treatments details.
  • To participate in appropriate training and duties as may be required to develop skills necessary to ensure a range of services are available to patients.
  • To liaise with managers, nursing staff, GPs and Consultants as necessary to ensure smooth delivery of the services.

Essential Requirements:

  • Able to work independently, managing own workload, prioritising tasks and allocating work appropriately to others.
  • Provide support for the department or division, including organising and administering meetings.
  • Admin and Clerical Experience within last 12 months.
  • Right to work in UK.
