AJS Control and Automation provide turnkey services to the food and beverage industry and a wide range of FMCG manufacturers. From concept to completion, we handle the whole process in-house. Project Engineering, control panel design and build, software development followed by site installation and commissioning are key parts of our team.

We are looking for a graduate who would like to join the team and develop their skills, in control panel project engineering.

<b>Project Engineers are project technical design:</b> responsible for gathering the full range of
<br><br>
information on all projects to ensure we accurately complete designs and software
<br><br>
development in line with the client requirements. Working alongside the Project Manager
<br><br>
this role is important to ensure the attention to detail is met.
<br><br>
This role is for a graduate who wants to become a Project Engineer in the Controls and Automation industry. The Project Engineer's key duties are:
<br><br>
<b>Site visits when required to collect design information:</b><br>
Production of Device Lists
<br><br>
Production of ‘Simple FDS' (Functional Design Specification) – smaller projects
<br><br>
Production of Load Lists
<br><br>
Production of I/O Lists
<br><br>
Help with Designers Risk Assessment
<br><br>
Managing of Parts Ordering Lists
<br><br>
Production of Design Brief – Panel Schematics
<br><br>
Raise Drawing Requests
<br><br>
Production of simple Software Brief – were software team complete FDS
<br><br>
Collation of information for Operating and Maintenance Manual
<br><br>
Arrange control panel PDI with Project Manager
<br><br>
Post project support
<br><br>
You will have a structured training plan, and once you have completed your probationary period (12 weeks) formal training HNC in Instrumentation and Control Engineering will be offered.
