Integrated Pathology Solutions LLP is an innovative Joint-Venture Pathology service between Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. This partnership delivers a high quality pathology service through collaboration between three Trusts for the benefit of patient and service users.

This role is based at the Bradford Royal Infirmary laboratory site and the successful candidate will be employed directly by the NHS as an Airedale NHS Foundation Trust employee.

You may be required to work on any of the other sites if there is a service need.

<br><br>

Applications are invited for a full time HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist with experience of working in an NHS Clinical Chemistry setting.

<br><br>

Candidates will need to be enthusiastic, well-motivated and innovative. Good organisational and practical abilities supported by well-developed interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to support individual and team working are also key to this role. All of these skills and attributes are in line with the Trust’s Right Care Behaviours.

The department is well equipped and has automated equipment which includes a fully automated Beckman track system with Beckman AU680//DXI analysers.

<br><br>

The department currently operates a 24/7 service under Agenda for change T&C’s though we are considering transitioning to a Continuous Process Pattern (CPP) shift system going forward. This is achieved via shift system (Early/Late/Night/Weekends) in which you will be required to fully participate after suitable training.
