A pioneering tech company working in the world of natural language processing, computer vision and artificial data is looking for Machine Learning Engineer to join their team. Working on forward-thinking projects, the team looks to develop innovative solutions to drive their core product forward.
What you’ll be doing
This role would see you joining the company’s NLP team, helping work on their world-beating text-to-video software.
You’ll work to develop, maintain and deploy NLP models and algorithms, as well as adapting ‘off-the shelf’ solutions, to improve and update the company’s core product.
Furthermore, you’ll work on creating high quality, production ready and scalable code, contributing to a high-quality codebase, as well as taking on ownership of the company’s production pipelines. You will also evangelise best coding practices, help with code reviews, pull requests and more.
What experience you’ll need
- A MSc or PhD in a STEM subject, Computer Science or Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant proven commercial experience
- Very strong coding skills in Python, with a key interest in software development
- Strong experience conducting good practice withing engineering, such as conducting code reviews, versioning, and maintaining existing code
- Strong capability in building API’s for NLP features
- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch.
- Experience working with Transformers, Large Language Models, and Hugging Face is desirable
- Deployment skills using AWS and Docker is desirable
- Previous experience having worked within both scale-up and larger tech businesses would be an advantage
