The Butchery Apprenticeship standard is currently available at both Level 2 and 3 lasting between 18-24 months. We are looking to recruit Butchery Apprentices to join our team.. On successful completion of both levels, apprentices will be entitled to automatic registration to full membership of the Institute of Meat.

Many people in supervisory and management positions at ABP started their careers within our production departments, so this could be the start of a rewarding career for you.

Working in a busy department and learning how to be a great butcher.

Understanding of customer specifications and monetary impact.

Regular completion of apprenticeship coursework.

Completion of an assessment at the end of your training period.

Adhere to company Health, Safety, Training and Hygiene policies.

Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.

The Butchery Apprenticeship will offer:
